Stir Fry Recipe
Description
A quick, colorful stir fry with crisp vegetables and a savory soy-garlic sauce.
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 chicken breast, thinly sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 broccoli head, cut into florets
- 2 carrots, julienned
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch slurry in a bowl.
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in a wok or large pan over high heat. Cook chicken until browned, then remove.
- Add remaining oil, garlic, and ginger; stir for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add broccoli, carrots, and bell pepper; stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until crisp-tender.
- Return chicken to the pan and pour in the sauce. Toss until glossy and cooked through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve hot with rice or noodles.
